The summer 2008 Ängsbacka co-operative society was created with the purpose to take over the ownership of Ängsbacka and secure its future.
At the constitutive meeting the 1st of june the first 60 members created the association and decided on a basic set of rules.
A board was elected and immediately started the work to create a constitution, appoint a group to lead the daily work and to launch a campaign for recruting members.
