I came as a volunteer to Ängsbacka the first time in the summer of 2001. It was love at first sight. I lived in the community for a year and a half and since then I live in Molkom. Ängsbacka has been a very important part of my life. I have closely followed the development of Ängsbacka and was part of the first board of the association in 2008. I am well aware of how Ängsbacka works and what challenges that may arise.

I work as a children and youth Psychiatrist in Karlstad and meet a lot of people in different situations. I will contribute with my burning enthusiasm and love for Ängsbacka, my extensive personal knowledge of the place and an unshakeable belief that a place like Ängsbacka is essential; now and in the future!

Ängsbacka has given so much to so many people and I think the need for what it has to offer will only increase in years to come – for myself I’ve benefited from several courses, trainings and festivals. I believe It is now even more important to further strengthen the structural and financial basis for Ängsbacka. And at the same time safeguard and nurture the heart and soul that has made

Ängsbacka into the unique place it is. I would like to contribute to achieving this clear and stable way forward.

In Ängsbacka, through the beautiful people and surroundings, I have found a sense of belonging and a common goal worth striving for. I live in the area and have been connected to it for all my life. I’m now currently studying to become a Psychologist.

I hope that I can bring my knowledge of people, groups and relationships and my striving to be the change to Ängsbacka and that we all together can keep Ängsbacka growing and changing peoples lives.

The first time I set foot in Ängsbacka i realised at once that it was home. I have since been to numerous courses and festivals and feels like a fish in water. I enjoy working with spiritual and personal growth and have extensive knowledge in the area.

I have a positive attitude, good leadership abilities and good coaching skills. I am vulnerable, generous, loyal, focused, goal oriented, straight communicator, appreciative, inspiring, awake and with a will to make the world bloom.

My guiding principles are Love, Freedom, Courage, Humour and Joy.

Ängsbacka makes people grow with love, openness and playfulness. That was hat I felt when I came to the No Mind festival 2008. That is what I wish to continue build on so that everyone that wants to can take part of the transforming warmth of Ängsbacka. I will contribute with structured leadership after over a decades experience in project management within IT, telecom and web and several years of personal growth.

The goal to develop Ängsbacka to a leading meeting place for sustainable human development is exciting. Every individual contributes with her self and her personal growth to make Ängsbacka grow. My experience from working at different levels in associations and the ability to see the importance for the whole in every person is something that I will bring with me to the work on the board. I believe that learning is a life-long commitment and to give everyone an opportunity to participate in the inspiring courses and festivals available at Ängsbacka.

I work as freelance in digital media and as a writer. My heart and soul belongs in Stockholm but I’m now trying out the country experience in the south of Sweden. I liberate my thoughts through running and dance. If not a coffee and my favourite cafe will also do the trick.

I discovered Ängsbacka and all the people that come together here last year, it left me with a desire for more. One of my motivations as a board member is to have more people discover Ängsbacka.
