Ängsbacka Christmas Festival takes place in the beautiful and snow-filled Värmland, 3.5 hours drive from Oslo/Stockholm/ Gothenburg in the Town of Molkom. The theme for this years Christiams Festival is Togetherness and Creativity.
This year we welcome singles,couples and children to celebrate Christmas together at Ängsbacka Kursgård. Here you have the chance to meet both old and new friends and everyone will have the opportunity to participate in workshops with people in their own age and as well as mixed age groups. No babysitting arrangements. You are all welcome to have fun without alcohol, in a warm atmosphere of acceptance of who and what we truly are beyond all thoughts and concepts.
The Alternative Christmas Celebration at Angsbacka offers you: Old traditions as well as new ones, inspiring workshops, gourmet vegetarian meals, morning yoga, concerts, sing-along, sledging in the snow, dancing, laughter, play and rest, sharing and caring and lots of warm embraces.
This Christmas Celebration is an opportunity to meet yourself and others with an open heart, not only during workshops but also in front of the fireplace and on the dance floor, in the cosy Cafe and in the wood heated sauna, during delicious meals or at a walk in the snow-covered forest.
At Christmas Eve you will have the opportunity to walk down to the beautiful old wooden church next to the lake, guided by torchlight. Here, with the priest and artist from Angsbacka, we will hold ceremony, sing and meditate. But before this, we will have a party, meet Santa Claus and his sweet helpers and enjoy a delicious vegetarian Christmas dinner together with our excellent musicians.
