After the best Yogafestival ever at Ängsbacka, we prepare for a new festival with even deeper experiences for your next year. Many of our teachers will return, and many new and interesting teachers will come to share their gifts with you.
Ängsbacka Yoga Festival 2012 will be a manifestation for peace and freedom. We are focusing on one of the basic pillars in yogic philosophy, “Ahimsa” or Non Violence and together we create a festival for peace, compassion and love. A world in peace and freedom can only be created of people with a feeling of inner peace. So we use Yoga, Dance, Meditation, Relaxation, Self-inquiry and Voice Work, to connect inwardly with a space of peace and freedom. Through Partner Yoga, Massage, Workshops about food, Sharing, Dance, Existential Dyads, Chanting and Poojas (gratitude ceremonies) we create a platform for world peace together.
Come and join us! Come alone and meet new friends! Come with friends, students, family… Sign up now for Ängsbacka Yoga Festival 2012!
The Yoga Festival is an event for yoga enthusiasts of all levels and traditions. Beginner classes give a gentle introduction to easy yoga that anyone can do. Strong dynamic yoga
classes challenge the more experienced practitioners. In Akro Yoga, Partner Yoga and Yoga Massage you explore fun and supportive ways to do yoga with others. We have interesting workshops for both new and experienced practitioners, workshops that teach techniques to open up and relax. Our most experienced teachers take you into new yoga experiences where you connect with your body’s own intelligence, discovering new ways of finding optimal alignment, enhancing your natural fitness and aliveness.
Family policy Families are welcome! Our Kids’ and family program provides daily opportunities for children and youngsters to have fun with yoga on their own playful premises, and parents can play yoga with their children. We offer special workshops for children and for families and we offer professional day care for up to 4 hours/day that look after children while parents are at their own workshops.
The Yoga classes are designed to be for both you who are beginners and the more experienced. Dance Classes require no previous experience, and are designed to help you focus on connecting with your body, inner being and the joy of movement.
The environment In the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of fields, lakes and woods, Ängsbacka is a perfect place for you to delve into yoga. From early morning to late evening, your day is saturated with the ambiance of yoga and deep spiritual practice.
All teachers come to the festival to support the yoga practitioners in their growth and connection to the silence within, into more awareness and joy.
