FESTIVAL TICKET POLICY

This policy applies to festival tickets and Conscious Camping tickets bought online via Angsbacka.com or at our reception. The policy also includes volunteer registrations for the above booking types. The policy is presented at the time of purchase and full – or partial – payment of the ticket equals consent. Swedish law and regulations have been taken into account when forming this policy, the document in its entirety is approved by the Ängsbacka organisation. PAYMENT METHODS, CONFIRMATION AND DOCUMENTS

Online tickets, as well as tickets bought at our reception are all registered and paid via our booking system. Our currency is SEK, you manage your payment via the online system and your personal bank service. This applies also for purchase at our reception; as a rule we do not accept cash payments or foreign currency. 

Our system accepts most bank- and credit cards, Swish (direct payment within Sweden) and bank transfer as payment methods. Tickets worth <10 000 SEK require full payment at the time of purchase. Tickets worth >10 000 SEK can be paid in installments (initial payment is still minimum 10 000 SEK). 

The following purchases are exceptions that require that you contact our booking office personally;

    • When you want to use a pre-existing voucher in your name (requires manual handling by our staff).
    • When performing a booking in another persons name, i.e a gift (a group booking when you are one of the participants is not affected by this exception).

DOCUMENTS RELATED TO YOUR BOOKING 

Booking and payment via the online system generates a confirmation email, linking you to your booking page online. Here you can view and handle your payments and keep track of due dates. The full amount associated with your booking has to be paid at the latest 30 days before the event starts. Remember, only full payment guarantees your booking, make sure to pay any outstanding amounts on time – you will receive a reminder via email before the due date! 

Your payment also generates a receipt (including specification of VAT) that is sent to your email account. Please note! We do not issue additional receipts, or change the name of the payee once the purchase is made. Please make sure you enter the correct name of payee and the name of who will participate in the event at the time of purchase.

RULES FOR TICKET CANCELLATION, TRANSFER AND REFUND

As a starting point, we do not refund festival tickets (unless §1 applies to you booking, see below). We do however offer some options to participation if you change your mind about attending the event.

 

    • §1: EARLY CANCELLATION – LATEST ON DAY 45-30**
      If your booking is made at least 45 days prior to the event starting date, and if you let us know by email within 2 weeks after booking (i.e at least 30 days before the event starting date) you can revert your purchase, and get a refund minus 400 SEK admin fee. If this rule does not apply to your booking, see details for other options below.
    • §2: TICKET CANCELLATION
      If you decide to cancel your participation after the first 14 days (when applicable) and neither of the below options suits you, Ängsbacka keeps the full booking value. 
    • §3: TRANSFER TO ANOTHER EVENT – LATEST ON DAY 15**
      If you cannot attend the event you originally booked, you can use your full booking value to transfer your participation to another bookable event during current or the following year. We can only guarantee basic accommodation (tent or dorm depending on event) for this option. If it is your wish to inquire about the possibility to book upgraded accommodation, please contact the booking office for more information.
    • §4: ASSIGN NEW TICKET HOLDER – LATEST ON DAY 15**
      If you cannot make it to an event you may have the possibility to transfer the ticket to another person/s. Contact the booking office as soon as possible, and preferably at least 15 days before the event starting date. We charge 400 SEK administrative fee per ticket. Please note! For some events there is a wish from our side to establish a gender balance among the participants, which could influence who is able to join.
    • §5: ILLNESS; KEEP YOUR FULL BOOKING VALUE FOR ANOTHER EVENT – UP UNTIL 48HRS**
      If you cannot attend the event due to illness or another reason that you could not have foreseen AND you communicate this to us at the latest until 48 hours before the festival begins, we will offer you a voucher of the total booking value to use at a later point. We normally require a doctor’s confirmation that you are hindered to participate, an exception is made to this rule until further notice. 
    • §6: LAST MINUTE COMPLICATIONS – IN THE FINAL 48HRS**
      If you fall ill or other unforeseen complications arise in the last 48 hours before the festival begins we offer you a voucher of 50% of your booking value to use at a later point. We normally require a doctor’s confirmation that you are hindered to participate, an exception is made to this rule until further notice. Once you have arrived and checked in and then need to leave early, for any reason, we do not refund your remaining days.
    • §7: ÄNGSBACKA CANCELS; VOUCHER FOR OTHER EVENT WILL BE OFFERED – AT ANY POINT**
      If Ängsbacka cancels or postpones the event you will be informed about this via email and your booking will then be transferred to an equal event. We intend to communicate any decision to cancel the event at least 30 days in advance**, with a reservation that unforeseen circumstances may prevent us from doing so. As an alternative you can apply to receive a voucher of your full booking value to use at a future event of your choice. As a rule we do not refund festival tickets (after the initial 14 days after purchase), customers can however apply for a refund if this is their wish. Ängsbacka’ overall financial health and the needs of the customer will be taken into consideration, our capacity to approve an application, and thereafter perform a refund, is decided case by case.

ADDITIONAL AGREEMENTS AND GENERAL POLICES THAT APPLY TO ALL

    • We expect you to cancel your participation if you, close to the start of (or during the event itself) know, or have a valid reason to believe, that you are carrying a contagious virus. We refer to you having symptoms of for example stomach flu, influenza or COVID-19 here, diseases that may cause an immediate health risk for other participants. Remember, it is your responsibility to do what you can to minimize the risk of infecting others.
    • If your travel here is cancelled or if you cannot join due to travel restrictions within Sweden or internationally, the above policy still applies and we do under no circumstances reimburse you for any travel tickets bought.
    • When making a booking with us you agree to our general policies and guidelines. Please note! Some events have alternative/additional policies and guidelines, if this is the case, special care will be given to clearly communicate this to all customers in the booking flow. If you are not sure what applies to the event you are attending, please contact our booking office for clarification.

PERSONAL DATA POLICY

Making a booking with us equals consent to our Personal Data Policy (as follows):

It is important for us that you as a customer feel safe around how Ängsbacka handles your personal data. Our focus is to give all customers the best service possible; this requires that we have access to the following information about you: name, address, date of birth, phone number and an email-address.

We are relying on this information to be able to correctly process your requested service.

In addition to this, due to the type of events we offer, we will also ask you to specify a gender (some events have a limited amount of tickets offered within a certain gender-group).

We handle all data in compliance with Swedish law and GDPR. We have chosen to cooperate with Transitor AB (the supplier of our booking system) and in that cooperation we have secured full ownership of the customer database and that it is handled in line with this policy. You always have the full right to take part in the data we have collected from you, as well as to revise and correct them as needed. Access to personal information will only be shared with Ängbacka related partners as course facilitators and program coordinators. They are informed and consent to only use your information to communicate about the event you signed up for and related events they are holding themselves. They are without exception not allowed to sell your personal information to any other party.

Once we have delivered our service to you (the event is fully paid and completed) you can actively reach out to us with any wish to be removed from our system. We will systematically remove data related to customers that have not requested our services within the past 7 years.
