All members together form the circle of Ängsbacka association; this weekend is here for us to strengthen our connection and collaboration, to share ourselves and our love for Ängsbacka and celebrate all what this place means to us!

Welcome to Ängsbacka and our gathering for all members!

The Members Weekend offers you a great possibility to stay in touch with Ängsbacka. Welcome to meet and hang out with friends – old and new – as we together celebrate our association and all that Ängsbacka is!

During the weekend you can expect to have a chance to meet and ask your questions to management, staff and board – get an update where Ängsbacka is at in this unusual year of 2020. On Sunday you can take part in the annual General Meeting; where we highlight and celebrate the past year and make decisions for the future.

Annual general meeting – share your voice in our decision making forum

The general meeting will take place in Upper Barn on Sunday, May 9th 10:00 and lasts until dinner – with a break for lunch 13:00-14:30. All meals are served in the Café. This is also our place to meet and hang out and it is good to know that the ground floor of the Yellow House and the Big Annex are both reserved for a course this weekend.

Already now you can submit a petition to the General meeting and remember that petitions can be sent to the board all year round! Please use this template and contact for more information.

Some of the information above has not been translated, please use an online tool for this purpose and we hope that it will be sufficient for all to understand. The documents are also available for reading in Upper Barn from 09.30 on Sunday.

Info about registration

Management and board have designed a package, exclusive for members, including all meals and a bed on site for the weekend Friday-Sunday that costs 500 SEK. If you choose to not be here the whole time you still pay the full package. We expect you to let us know that you have a different arrival time by contacting our booking office once you have registered.

Dinner on Sunday is also included in the package and we ask you to please take care of emptying and cleaning the room where you have been staying in the break between the end of the meeting and starting time for our last shared meal at 18:30. It is possible to book an extra night, please let us know if this is your wish latest during check-in on Friday afternoon. 

If you live in Molkom you still need to register for the meals you will be attending. The registration fee is 5 SEK and meals added to your registration costs 50 SEK each.

Program for the weekend

The main intention for the weekend is to come together; to see each other and reconnect with Ängsbacka’s vision and purpose. Here is the full program! Remember – meals are only guaranteed for those who have pre-booked at the latest by September 25th.

17:30 – 18:30 The reception opens for check-in (only for those who stay at Ängsbacka).
18:30 – 19:30 Dinner is served in the Café.
19:30 – late The sauna is open. The first hour is in silence.

08:00 – 8:45 – Breakfast is served in the Café.
10:00 – Welcome meeting for participants of the member weekend. Upper Barn.
11:30 – 13:00 – Meeting with Circle of Elders and participants and the board. Upper Barn.
13:00 – 14:00 – Lunch in the Café.
14:30 – 17:30 – Café is open for delicious coffee, cakes, and hang-out.
16:00 – 18:00 – Info and question time with Ida & Malin (and the board). Upper Barn.
18:30 – 19:30 – Dinner is served in the café.
20:00 – Dance with Therese in Upper Barn. Extended and volunteers are also invited.

8:00 – 8:45 – Breakfast is served in the café.
9:00 – 10:00 – The meeting room is open for hanging out and reading documents.
10:00 – 13:00 – Annual meeting.
13:00 – 14:00 – Lunch is served in the café.
14:30 – Annual meeting continues.
18:30 – Latest time to check out from the rooms. Important! Follow the instructions for cleaning posted in the room.
18:30 – 19:30 – Dinner is served in the Café


The full weekend including program, food and a bed on site costs SEK 500. If you stay at home but want to have meals, follow the same booking link!

If you will just take part in the activity program and/or the General meeting these are offered  free of charge. All meals should be booked in advance.
