Welcome to Sacred Womb Festival

Since 2017, Sacred Womb Festival has been hosted every year at Ängsbacka, welcoming women from all walks of life to connect, unwind, learn, inspire, and celebrate their womanhood.

Our mission is to bring women together. To educate them about the potential of their bodies, to expand their minds, help them heal their hearts and connect them to their innate sexual wholeness.

We strive to offer an experience of strength and unity – where our longing for belonging is met and welcomed. Where we can learn from each other, revive the ancient wisdom of the Circle and understand on a deep level what it means to fully relax in the company of other women.

Our vision is a world where women can be raw and open with each other, can celebrate each other’s greatness and focus on what we are here to create in service of the wholeness of self, Life and others.

We envision a circle of hundreds of women, from all over the world, standing together, learning, growing, shining together.

Join us from May 22nd to May 26th 2024

Is this festival for me?

Answer this simple question, am I a woman?
If your answer is yes, our answer is YES!

At Sacred Womb: Uniting Womanhood, our goal is to create an inclusive environment where every woman can feel welcomed, valued and empowered, regardless of their age, skin colour, profession, religion, belief system, or nationality.

In today’s modern world, we face many challenges as women. In ancient times and cultures, women came together in circles to support each other through these challenges and life transitions. Nowadays, many of us feel isolated and alone as our modern lifestyles are not supporting the traditional values of home, hearth and heart.

However, there are major shifts happening all over the world. Humanity is starting to awaken and women are rising, standing up for the wellbeing of their families, communities and the Earth, our home. It is a lot we need to manage as mothers, grandmothers, family caretakers, career builders, lovers and sisters. We need spaces that can hold us in our vulnerability, where we can show up authentically, share our wins and struggles and receive support and knowledge on how to stay balanced, healthy and in touch with our deep feminine intuition.

Our Festival aims to be a part of this awakening. We wish to give you the chance to feel the power of community, the experience of belonging, the opportunity for deep healing and magical self-discovery. Together, we are invincible.

Join the festival

Embrace the power of the Sacred Womb, a sanctuary where womanhood unites, heals, and thrives.

Sacred Womb Program – what can I expect?

While we welcome different teachers each year, our program at Sacred Womb Festival always includes certain elements that nourish the heart, body, mind, spirit, and sexual life force energy. As cyclical creatures, women are deeply connected to the rhythms and shifts of the Earth, the Moon, the elements, plants, and animals, even if we don’t always notice it. When we honor and understand our cyclical nature as part of nature itself, we become more relaxed, vibrant, healthy, and radiant.

In our modern lives, we are often disconnected from our spiraling and cyclical movements, so we always ensure to include teachers who can educate us about our cycles, hormones, fertility, blood mysteries, and basic anatomy. This is knowledge we all should receive at a young age, but rarely do.

We also believe in offering teachings that are relevant to all age groups, including inviting the Elder generation to teach and support us as we grow through our more mature years and learn to let go of our blood.

In addition to these recurring features, you can also expect to participate in other rituals and ceremonies, including our popular Fire Walk. And, of course, you’ll find all the other wonderful things that an Ängsbacka Festival has to offer, such as ecstatic dance, concerts and singing, yoga, nature walks, gong baths, sauna, and delicious vegetarian food.
