Working at Ängsbacka

Ängsbacka is a Course and Festival Center for Personal and Spiritual growth. Since 1997, thousands of people have travelled from all over the world to experience the magical, warm, open and loving atmosphere. To many, this place has become like a second home and source of inspiration.

Hundreds of people have lived and worked here for short or long periods. They have contributed with time, money, work, and above all their heart to create what we enjoy here today. Currently approximately 35 long term volunteers live on site.

Available roles

  • ECONOMY WORK LEADER
    Take on the responsibility of finance director in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions. This is a full time position. This position would be well suited to someone eager to dedicate their experience in managing the financial well-being of a complex but relatively small organization which acts to serve the well-being of a much larger community.

  • HOUSEKEEPING OPERATIONS CO-WORK LEADER (part-time)
    The operations co-work leader will work-lead the housekeeping team during festivals and courses unless otherwise instructed. A broader holding of vision will be done by the existing housekeeping work leader. An ideal person is both self motivated to and able to collaborate with flexibility and consideration to the other team members and community as a whole. Read more
  • CAKE BAKER (volunteer)
    You will be working as our cake baker, preparing our classics in both baked goods and raw cakes. We have a much loved menu already prepared, although we are open to your creative input and additions if you come with some winning recipes so long as they can stay with Ängsbacka after the summer. The goodies being made will be sold in our lovely cafe which remains open through the summer.

  • BOOKING ASSISTANT (volunteer)
    Your position will be assisting with the handling of all bookings, and reporting to the booking work leader. You will need to be both service minded, having the first contact with our clients and customers that make this all possible and have the logistical ability to create structure and keep yourself accountable. You will contribute to a team during the summer for our festival season, your ability to communicate well, cooperate with others and calmly exercise conflict resolution will be key.
