Pernilla Monie

Pernilla (MOONIE) is a DJ, Ecstatic Dance facilitator, and event performer currently based in the mountains of Åre, Sweden. With a passion for creating transformative dance experiences, she specializes in Ecstatic Dance events and also performs at festivals and private gatherings.

After discovering Ecstatic Dance in southern Sweden a few years ago, Pernilla has traveled extensively — through Sweden, Guatemala, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Norway — immersing herself in diverse dance cultures and drawing inspiration from each place.

She recently founded Åre’s Ecstatic Dance Club, a community initiative that has been warmly welcomed and celebrated in the valley. Known for her infectious energy and intuitive approach to music selection, Pernilla crafts dynamic dance journeys, weaving organic electronic sounds and rhythms that invite full-body expression and joy.

Her sets are deeply guided by what moves her own body, allowing her to connect authentically with the dance floor and share her vibrant spirit. With an innate ability to tune into the energy of a room, MOONIE creates spaces where freedom, connection, and pure dance magic unfold.
