Ingá Márjá Sarre is a Sámi actor, joiker, and vocal artist from Guovdageaidnu with over thirty years of experience on stage. Her artistic work is deeply rooted in Sámi language, identity, and storytelling traditions, and she is known for a strong stage presence, physical expressiveness, and vocal depth. In recent years, she has appeared in productions such as Sámi Bucket Listu, and Gavdnjejuvvon, the latter nominated for the 2026 Hedda Award for Best Youth Performance. Alongside her acting career, Sarre is an active joiker and vocal artist with a distinctive and expressive voice. She collaborates across musical genres and recently released the song Aarthtse with Jon Henrik Fjällgren, produced by Tobias Lundgren. She also works as a joik and vocal teacher. Her teaching combines cultural knowledge and Complete Vocal Technique.
