Tania Wayra

Voice, Song & Sound

Tania Wayra is a singer, songwriter, and Sound Facilitator with Aymara-Bolivian and Swedish roots. Her name, Wayra, means “wind” in Aymara—a reflection of wind, voice, and movement at the heart of her musical journey.
Through years as a singer and musician, including her journey with Khala Uma, Tania has shared the music of the Andes through concerts, cultural projects and workshops. Her voice carries the landscapes and spirit of the Andes.

Tania’s work is rooted in the connection between voice, song, sound, and the natural world. Through her voice and original music, she carries her heritage and a living tradition forward while creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, each other, and the earth. She is recording original songs dedicated to Pachamama. These songs continue to come alive through concerts, immersive sound experiences, and spaces of connection.
