Mahzoon

Mahzoon is an Iranian multi-instrumentalist, mystic poet, and dedicated researcher of Sufism based in Stockholm. His spiritual journey began at age seven, deeply rooted in the musical and meditative traditions of his heritage. As a multi-instrumentalist, he utilizes sacred instruments like the Daf (Persian frame drum), Tanbur, Ney (Persian reed flute), Moraj etc. As powerful tools for meditation, inner exploration, and sound healing, often blending them with his own spiritually inspired poetry.

Mahzoon’s path has led him on extensive journeys through India, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tibet, studying self-knowledge and ancient ritual movements under traditional masters. Having practiced Sema (Sufi whirling) for many years, he now shares this sacred dance as a living path toward inner stillness, self-discovery, and deep devotion.
