Åsa (Resmiranda) Larsson

Åsa Larsson, known by her artist name Resmiranda, is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and choir leader from the small town of Storvik in Gästrikland. By day she works as a church musician, playing the organ at funerals and weddings. In her spare time she teaches the ancient Scandinavian singing technique called kulning, roams the forest, leads choirs and plays music in a number of different constellations.
Through her music, Åsa explores how sound can reconnect us with nature and each other. In her solo project Resmiranda, she weaves together folk music, ambient soundscapes and environmental activism into something that feels both ancient and urgent, a sonic landscape where the wild and the human meet.
